Check your AI-built app before launch, inside Claude or ChatGPT
Add one link to your AI assistant. It gets Check and Launch's launch checks, works through them with you, and tells you what's worth looking at, in plain language.
Your assistant will start with the checks that matter for your builder.
Your prompt
Add the MCP to your assistant first (see how). Nothing you choose here is stored or sent anywhere by this page.
Your assistant does the checking
The Check and Launch MCP is a free connector (an MCP server) that gives your AI assistant the launch checks: why each one matters, how to check it, how to fix it, and what to ask your AI builder.
It stores nothing
The connector only sends back guidance. It never sees your app, your code, or your chat, and there's no sign-in.
It's a report, not a verdict
Your assistant reports what's worth looking at. It never gives a pass, fail, or score, and its findings aren't a verification of your app.
Best where it can see your code
In Claude Code or Cursor, the assistant can read your project. In Claude or ChatGPT chat, it will ask you to check settings or paste what it needs.
Five tools, all read-only
The 11 free checks come in full. For the other 49, your assistant gets the title and a pointer to Check and Launch Pro.
A way to begin
What Check and Launch is, what to ask, and a suggested order for working through the checks.
The checklist
Every check across ten areas, from data and access to launch day, filtered by area or by builder.
One check in full
Why it matters, how to check it, and how to fix it, in plain language.
A prompt for your builder
What to paste into Lovable, Bolt, Claude Code, Cursor, or another builder to fix the gap.
A launch-day plan
A step-by-step order for the day itself, so nothing is left to memory.
Prefer to track it yourself?
The same free checks are in the Check and Launch app, with progress and backup, saved in your browser.
What a session looks like
You
Use Check and Launch to check my Lovable app before launch.
Your assistant
I went through the free data and access checks against your project. Here's what's worth looking at:
- Worth looking atRow Level Security is enabled on every table. The
bookingstable has RLS turned off, so anyone with your public key could read it. In Lovable, ask: "Enable Row Level Security on every table and add policies so users can only read and edit their own rows." - Looks fine from hereNo secret keys appear in your front-end code. I didn't find
service_roleorsk_livein the code I could see.
Next, I'd test access as a second user. Want me to walk you through it?
An illustrative example. Your assistant's findings are its own report, not a verification of your app.
Try asking
- Check my Lovable app before launch
- Explain the Row Level Security check
- What should I ask Bolt to fix my email setup?
- List the checks for payments
- What should I do on launch day?
- Go through the free checks one by one
Add it to your assistant
Copy the server URL, then follow the steps for your assistant. It takes about two minutes.
Claude
- Open Claude and go to Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Check and Launch and paste the URL above.
- Click Add, then turn it on from the tools menu in a chat.
Works on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. Free plans allow one custom connector, so you may need to remove another first.
ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT Settings, then Apps (or Connectors), and choose to add a custom connector.
- Name it Check and Launch, paste the URL above, and choose no authentication.
- Confirm, then turn it on from the chat composer.
Custom connectors need a Pro, Business, or Enterprise/Edu plan. On Business and Enterprise, an admin may need to allow them. Menu names change, so check OpenAI's help pages if yours look different.
Claude Code
Run this in your project folder:
claude mcp add --transport http check-and-launch https://www.startbuildlaunch.com/mcp/check/
Then ask: "Use Check and Launch to check this app before launch."
Cursor
Add this to .cursor/mcp.json in your project (or your global MCP settings):
{
"mcpServers": {
"check-and-launch": {
"url": "https://www.startbuildlaunch.com/mcp/check/"
}
}
}
Then ask the agent to use Check and Launch to check your app.
Rather track it yourself?
The free Check and Launch app has the same 11 core checks, with progress, notes, and backup. Pro, with all 60 checks, is coming soon.
Check and Launch is guidance, not a security audit or legal review, and your assistant's findings are not a verification of your app. Check and Launch is independent and is not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Base44, Supabase, or Stripe.
